  • I think Toyota is doing what they need to do - stop selling the SUV, AND DO THEIR OWN TESTING. Consumer Reports testing has been questioned in the past as being very subjective and not that scientific or reliable. They often give totally different rating to cars that are identical.

  • You do realize that even at $2,000 a head penalty, it will be much cheaper for any business to just not offer health care insurance to it's employees. That's the endgame. Single-payer Govt. Insurance as the only option. Then you will see major ratioing and deniel of services, to keep it "solvent".

  • Woody - check the per kilowatt hour rate on your bill. We found that our elec. provider jacked our rate way up, without notice. Way above what other providers, and even they were offering "new" customers. I suspect the elec.

  • Its the cost that's the kicker. If you extrapolate out what the controls would do to emerging areas like Africa, and the costs to the big 5 economy's...pretty scary stuff comes out - life-changing laws to be imposed.

  • "The evidence is conclusive..." Is it? Or just the evidence presented? Not saying they aren't correct, but there are other theories. For example, dino species were spread over 65 million years, with no one group surviving more than 2 million years.

  • ...Good question to ask, since it was Obama and the Dems who made the deals with big Pharm and the Insurance Companies and lobbyiests, protecting them from anything passed in the bill. Canada keeps HC costs down by negotiating the prices of all perscription drugs sold in Canada.
